Wet Dust Collectors
Wet Dust poses a significant health and safety risk to your workers. Reliable and efficient collection of wet dust will decrease the risk of fire and explosions within your facility by collection of combustible dusts from metals such as aluminium, titanium and magnesium. Our systems are designed to work as containment booth extraction, piped systems or down draft solutions for benches. We tailor the size and configuration to meet your requirements. Dry Type Dust Collectors
Dry dust collectors are designed to control combustible dusts as cyclone and media collectors. Air separators within the systems collect combustible dust through by passing the air through a filter. The combustible dust is then collected from the filter and dislodged into a hopper or a bag and emptied periodically. Our systems are designed to fit in with the existing facility workflows to provide the maximum safety, efficiency and reliability.

Capture Hoods

Ductwork

As a demonstration of our versatility, Gwyn Thomas Limited have undertaken the project management and the provision of specialist labour to dismantle and transport from Sweden, a complete foundry extraction system and associated plant for reconstruction back in the UK.

Equipment Servicing
Servicing work on existing equipment/plant which can involve on-site fan balancing, fan servicing, fan duty up-rating/down-rating dependent on your duty requirements through to the replacement of fan belts, pulleys, general servicing etc.
Testing & Inspection
We provide ‘on-site’ independent LEV Testing service, which would include a submission of a detailed report for your records, or requirements for submission to either Local Councils or for Company Insurance purposes.
Maintenance
We carry out the maintenance of your Filter Units from replacement of all types of Filter Media, whether it is Tubular Filter Bags, Envelope Filter Elements or Pleated Cartridge Elements through to general servicing of pulse jet cleaning systems.
